People always bang on about the food in Thailand, and I thought it was a load of exaggerated nonsense... I'm completely converted, I wish we had similar stalls, carts and improvised kitchens on the side of the street all over new Zealand. I'm sat inches away from a road full of mopeds, buses and cars but get to trough a load of awesome noodles with a bunch of strangers for less than a pound... Wicked food and a strangely cool atmosphere! I don't mind getting the shits every now and again if it means relaxed food preparation laws allow this to happen at home!
